Hi all,

As promised, two new designs have been released that you may find beneficial. Both designs, remixed from online creative commons licensed files, are available for use and can be found on our designs page. A summary is also included below:

The universal BIO holder allows wireless ophthalmoscopes to be elevated off of countertops and touch points. This is especially helpful during countertop wipe downs to prevent getting the BIO wet. The design is fairly tall to accommodate multiple types of BIO. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first 3D printed universal BIO stand created.

This design is best printed on a large format printer and should be printed with 4 shells and 60% infill for strength.

The universal instrument handle holder allows health care professionals to keep their instrument handles off of countertops and touch points while preventing the handle from falling over. In Ophthalmology and Optometry, this is especially helpful as these instrument handles have to be charged in a stand charger, frequently adjacent to the patient. By keeping the instrument handle away from the stand charger until recharging is required, healthcare practitioners don't have to reach over the patient, thereby helping to improve socially distanced exams.

To the best of our knowledge, this is the first 3D printed universal instrument holder.

As always, if you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to drop us a line at albanynyppe@gmail.com

Thank you,

Brian
